US GDP Q2 to be left unrevised - RBS
FXStreet (Bali) - According to RBS, the first revision of the stronger-than-expected US second quarter GDP will be left unrevised.
Key Quotes
"The first revision of the stronger-than-expected US second quarter GDP is due, and we anticipate the preliminary growth rate of 4.0% q/q annualized in the second quarter will be left unrevised."
"Changes in the underlying subindices may result in the balance of growth in the second quarter being more favourable – a downward revision to inventories growth may be offset by an upward revision to growth from net trade."
"We expect initial jobless claims in the latest week to hold just below 300K, in line with the recent, but improving, trend. The US data broadly should continue to signal broad-based improvement in economic momentum."
