US: Consumer Confidence soars to 90.9 in July

FXStreet (Łódź) - US Consumer Confidence, released on Tuesday by the Conference Board showed an increase to 90.9 in July from 86.4 in June and against expectations of a drop to 85.3. This is the highest result recorded by the indicator since October 2007.

US Q2 GDP expected to come in strong at 4.6% - ING

Rob Carnell from ING suggests that the Q2 US GDP reading due out on Wednesday should come in at 4.6%, which is a much more optimistic view than market consensus of a 3% rise.
