Wallstreet adding further gains for record closes
FXStreet (Guatemala) - US stocks closed Monday making further gains taken higher by small caps rallying.
The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index was at 1,951.25 at 4.00pm in New York, which was another record in two months and adding 0.1pct.
Markets are beginning to favour the US as an investment with the ECB lowering rates last week and US data in the jobs market beating expectations that is encouraging the consumer and supporting the economy. The Federal Reserve is paying close attention to data and especially the jobs market with an eye to increasing rates and those timing of that as the continue to draw in on their bond purchasing programme.
