US Pres. Trump: Fed should move to quantitative easing

While speaking to reporters on the White House lawn on Friday, U.S. President Donald Trump, once again, criticised the Fed's monetary policy and said that the Fed's stance should be "quantitative easing" instead of quantitative tightening. Trump further argued that the Fed should cut rates and stop the balance sheet runoff.

However, the market didn't show a reaction and the US Dollar Index was flat on the day near 97.30 amid the fact that this isn't the first time Trump commented on the Fed's policy actions.
