NZD awaits the RBNZ this week. Strategists at Brown Brothers Harriman suggested that New Zealand is likely to make the second move in its tightening cycle in the week ahead, but it may pause afterwards.

Looking to momentum indicators, the hourly 200 SMA is currently at 0.8575, down from the last close at 0.8637 and declining. Over the past 20 days, the exponential average closing price is 0.8608, and trending lower.

Spot is presently trading at 0.8572, and next resistance can be seen at 0.8573 (Daily Open), 0.8580 (Daily Classic PP), 0.8589 (Daily High), 0.8593 (Daily Classic R1) and 0.8594 (Hourly 100 SMA). Next support to the downside can be found at 0.8569 (Weekly Low), 0.8569 (Hourly 20 EMA), 0.8564 (Daily Classic S1), 0.8563 (Daily Low) and 0.8555 (Yesterday's Low). Regarding candlestick formations, we can see Doji formation on the 1-hour.
