Trade wars: Mexico announces retaliatory tariffs - Reuters

The trade war is "On" as the tit-for-tat tariffs have begun. 

The US President Trump imposed steel and aluminum tariffs on Mexican exporters last week In response, Mexico is set to impose a 20 percent tariff on US pork imports, which account for about 90 percent of the country’s $1.07 billion (£803.6 million) annual imports of the cuts, according to Reuters.
