US Pres. Trump: Dollar will get stronger and stronger - CNBC

In an exclusive interview with CNBC,  "the dollar is going to get stronger and stronger and ultimately I want to see a strong dollar," President Donald Trump said, further adding that Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin's comments were taken out of context. The US Dollar Index quickly erased the majority of its daily losses on these comments and was last seen at 88.95, where it was down only 0.1% on the day.
