China urges North Korea to create conditions for talks after missile test - RTRS

China's foreign ministry said in an emailed statement on Monday, via Reuters, "at present the situation on the Korean peninsula is complex and sensitive, and we hope all relevant sides maintain calm and exercise restraint."

The statement from the Chinese ministry comes after North Korea fired at least one short-range ballistic missile on Monday.
