EUR/CHF dips to lows near 1.0830
The Swiss franc is now appreciating further vs. its European peer on Monday, with EUR/CHF dropping to the area of 1.0830, or session lows.
EUR/CHF focus on Sentix
The cross is reverting Friday’s small gains and seems to have resumed its leg lower after the recent rejection from the vicinity of the key 200-day sma around 1.0920. The selling bias around EUR is also collaborating with today’s decline, against the backdrop of thin trade conditions due to the US holiday.
Next on tap will be EMU’s Investors Confidence tracked by the Sentix index, expected to drop to 5.0 for the current month and following the ‘Brexit’ vote across the Channel.
EUR/CHF significant levels
As of writing the cross is losing 0.06% at 1.0831 and a break below 1.0700 (low Jun.27) would aim for 1.0610 (post-Brexit low Jun.24) and finally 1.0524 (low Jul.31 2015). On the other hand, the next resistance lines up at 1.0922 (200-day sma) followed by 1.0973 (55-day sma) and then 1.1027 (post-Brexit high Jun.24).
