NZ business confidence: sixth successive month of falls
FXStreet (Bali) - New Zealand ANZ activity outlook came at 36.6% vs previous 45.1%, while business confidence also kept shrinking to 24.4% vs 39.7%.
Cameron Bagrie, Chief Economist at ANZ, stated:
"Waning business sentiment is turning into a trend, declining for the sixth successive month."
"The level of confidence is still consistent with solid momentum and growth."
"The economy has semblances of Goldilocks; good growth and low inflation is a powerful mix."
"The economic expansion still has powerful support facets. However, there are clearly more risks to manage."
